Online Tourism

Online Tourism is based in the Sharma Building along the Kufri-Chail Road. We’re located near the Chaina area, which is a bit of a drive out of the main Shimla town. It’s a good spot because we see a lot of people heading out towards the higher hills. Despite the name, we aren't some giant internet company. We are just a small team working out of an office on a busy road. We spend our days on the computer and the phone, helping people figure out where they want to stay and how to get there. The office isn't very big and it’s usually filled with the sound of traffic passing by outside. We don't use polished language or try to sound like we’re something we aren't. We just give people the facts about the hotels and the roads. If a place is overpriced or the food isn't great, we usually mention it. We think it’s better to be practical. Our desk is often covered in loose papers and tea mugs. It’s a real working environment. We’ve lived in this part of Himachal for a long time, so we know the weather patterns and which times of year are best for traveling. We don't have a big mission; we just want to make sure the bookings go through without any trouble. It’s just us doing our bit to help folks out.
