You can find Lalitas Tour Travel over at Both Well Estate in Sanjauli. We are quite close to the IGMC hospital, so there is always a lot of movement around here. It’s a busy part of Shimla, but that’s fine for us. We started this because we liked travel and wanted to work for ourselves. It isn't a massive operation with hundreds of employees. Usually, it's just one or two of us sitting by the desk, sorting out paperwork and talking to people who want to go on a trip. We don't have a polished sales pitch. We just tell you what the prices are and which roads are the best to take this time of year. Sometimes the office gets a bit dusty or the printer acts up, but we manage. People come to us when they need a vehicle or a plan for their holiday. We know the shortcuts and the places that get too crowded. We like living in Shimla and we like helping others see why it’s a decent place to visit. There’s no corporate ladder here, just a small business trying to do right by the people who walk through the door. We keep track of everything in our notebooks and try to stay organized. It’s practical work. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure your taxi shows up on time. It's how we've always done things.
