Jindal Stainless

Our office is located at Karol House in Rajhana, which is part of New Shimla. Working in the hills is a lot different than working in the plains of Haryana or the heat of Orissa. The air is thinner and colder up here at 171009, and the pace of life is a bit different too. We handle the stainless steel business from this mountain location, which means dealing with winding roads and different logistics than our colleagues elsewhere. Karol House is a sturdy building that looks out over the slopes. Inside, we are busy with the same phones and computers as any other office, but the view out the window is much better. Getting steel up to these heights takes some planning, and that is what we do here. We coordinate the deliveries and make sure the local projects get what they need. It is a small team up here, and we all know each other well. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when the snow comes or the fog rolls in, but we still get the work done. We are not a fancy corporate outpost; we are just a practical office making sure the steel industry reaches the mountains. It is a quiet spot in Rajhana, but we keep busy enough. People who visit us often comment on the drive up, but for us, it is just the daily commute to Karol House. We like the balance of hard industrial work and the quiet of the hills.
