Indo Asiana Travels

Indo Asiana Travels is based out of Basant Cottage, inside Kapil Niwas. We are in the Lower Chakkar area, over by Summer Hill. It’s very close to HP University, so we see a lot of students and teachers walking around. The office is more like a part of a house than a regular commercial building. It has that old Shimla cottage feel to it, with wooden bits and sometimes a bit of a draft. Being in Summer Hill makes it a bit of a trek to get to the main town, but we like the peace and quiet here. We handle a lot of different travel requests, mostly just writing things down in our diaries and making calls. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit to get back to work. We don’t have any corporate slogans or anything like that. We just know the area well and we’ve lived here a long time. The walk from the university to our cottage is quite nice when the sun is out. We usually have some snacks around and we’re happy to chat with anyone who drops by. It’s a very local way of doing things, keeping it small and manageable without too much stress. We just do our best to help people see the hills without making it a big complicated deal.
