Ice Axe Holiday.Com is situated in Kasumpti Kothi, which is right across from B M Motors in the Shimla East area. We are specifically in the Chota Shimla part of town. It’s a nice enough spot, though the traffic can be a bit much sometimes when the government offices are letting out. Our office is in one of those older style buildings that has been around for a while. We don't have any big neon signs or anything. We mostly focus on organizing holidays for people who want to see the real Himachal. Living in Chota Shimla, you get used to the steep walks and the cold wind that blows through the valley. We spend our days mostly on the computer or talking to people about where they want to go. It’s a small operation. We know the local shopkeepers and the mechanics at B M Motors across the road. Sometimes we just stand outside and watch the cars go by when things are quiet. Planning trips is just what we do to get by. We don't promise anything crazy, just that we will do the work to find a car or a room. The hills are beautiful but they can be tough, so we just try to be practical about what can be done in a day's drive. It's a steady job in a beautiful part of the world, and we're just happy to be doing it here.
