Holiday In Himalaya has its office in Lower Chakar, Shimla. We are situated near the District Court Road, so there are always people moving about during the day. It is a bit of a climb to get up here, but that is just how Shimla is. We are a small team that helps people figure out their travel plans in the Himalayan region. We have been working from this office for several years now and we have seen the town change a lot. We do not use any marketing speak or try to sound like a big travel agency. We are just local residents who know the mountains better than most. Most of our work involves talking to people about where they want to go and then making the phone calls to set it up. We have a few old desks and a printer that occasionally jams, but we manage just fine. We like to sit and talk with whoever walks through the door, usually over a cup of hot tea. It is important to us that people enjoy their time here, so we give them the same advice we would give our own friends. We know the quiet trails and the best times to avoid the crowds.
