Himtravels

You can find us at Himtravels, right on the Mall Road, specifically near the BSNL office and the Anaj Mandi area. We have a couple of small shop spaces, numbers 2 and 34/1. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but it works for what we do. The Mall is always full of people walking up and down, so there’s never a dull moment outside our window. We’ve been here long enough to see the shops around us change names a dozen times. We just keep doing our thing, helping people with their travel plans around Himachal. We don't use any fancy software or have a bunch of people in suits. It’s just us behind the counter, usually talking to locals or travelers who wandered in. The Anaj Mandi area has a lot of history, and we like being right in the thick of it. It can get pretty noisy during the peak tourist season, but that’s just life in Shimla. We don't try to act like we're a global company. We're just a local travel shop. If the weather is bad, we’ll tell you to stay put. If a hotel is overbooked, we try to find another one. It’s just practical, daily work. We don’t have a big philosophy, we just show up and do the job. Sometimes the monkeys on the roof make more noise than the people, but we've gotten used to that over the years.
