Himalayan Paramount Tours is located in Thakur Villa, which you can find in the Khalini area of Shimla. We are quite close to the Hanuman Temple, so we often hear the bells or see people heading up for prayers. Our office is tucked into the villa, giving it a very local and grounded feel. It is not a modern office building; it’s more of a traditional Shimla structure. We spend our time here coordinating tours across the Himalayas. Most of our work involves talking to people who want to see more than just the usual tourist spots. We have lived in these hills for a long time and we know the shortcuts and the quiet places that aren't on every map. The office has a few old maps on the walls and plenty of registers for our bookings. We don't have a big staff, so whoever picks up the phone is usually the one who will be helping you out. Khalini is a lively neighborhood and we like the vibe here. It’s close enough to the main city but has its own character. Sometimes the fog rolls in so thick you can’t see the temple from the window. We just keep working through the seasons, helping people plan their journeys and making sure our drivers are ready for the mountain roads. It is a simple way of running things but it works for us and the people we help. We just take it day by day.
