Him Gaurav Travels

Him Gaurav Travels operates out of Ankur Niwas in the Sanjauli area of Shimla. It’s a residential-feeling spot near Ali Manjil, so it’s easy to find if you’re walking around the neighborhood. We aren't a big corporation or anything like that. We’re just local people who know how to get around these hills. Usually, there’s a lot of noise from the street outside, but inside we just focus on getting our work done. We help people arrange their travel, mostly focusing on cars and trips around the local area. There's no script when we talk to people. If the roads are blocked by snow or a landslide, we tell you straight. It’s better to be honest than to promise things that can’t happen. Our office is simple, nothing too special to look at, just a place where we keep our logs and answer the phone. We’ve been in Sanjauli for a bit and we like the community here. Most of our day is spent talking to drivers or making sure the timings are right. We don't spend money on fancy brochures because we'd rather just talk to you face to face. Sometimes things get hectic during the tourist season, but we try to keep our heads down and stay busy. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out. We hope the cars run on time and the visitors enjoy the fresh air.
