Ganpati Tour & Travel

Ganpati Tour & Travel is located in New Shimla, specifically over in Arki. We have our little office on the top floor of the Arki New Palace building. It’s a bit of a climb to get up here, but the view of the surrounding area is alright. New Shimla is a bit different from the main Mall area, it feels a bit more spread out. We spend our days here answering the phone and trying to organize trips for people who want to see the sights. Since we are on the top floor, it’s usually a bit quieter than being right on the street level. We have a few desks and some maps on the walls to help us figure out the distances. It’s not a fancy palace even if the building name says so, it’s just where we work. We’ve been in Arki for a while now and most of the neighbors know us. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to manage the bookings and talk to the drivers. Sometimes we forget to update the logbooks right away, but we always get it done eventually. We like being in this part of Shimla because it’s a bit more relaxed. We just take the calls as they come and try to keep the cars moving. It’s a steady kind of life, nothing too complicated or flashy.
