Amazing India Travels

Amazing India Travels is based out of Summer Hill in Shimla. We are very close to the railway station, so we hear the toy train whistling all through the day. It is a much quieter part of town compared to the main city center, which we actually prefer. Our office is just a small place where we handle bookings and talk to travelers who are just arriving by train. Being near the station means we see a lot of tired faces, and we try to help them figure out where they need to go next. We have lived in this part of Shimla for years and we know every curve of the mountain roads around here. We do not have fancy brochures with photoshopped pictures. We just tell people the truth about how long it takes to get to Manali or why the snow might block the pass. It is a honest way to run things. Sometimes we are out of the office helping a driver or checking on a guest, but someone is usually around to answer the phone. The air is a bit thinner and cooler up here in Summer Hill, so we always have a heater running in the winter months. We just like showing people the mountains we call home. It is a simple life and we do our best to stay busy throughout the year.
