Semlifarms Jaivik Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are a group of farmers from around Ichawar and Sehore who decided to come together as Semlifarms Jaivik Farmer Producer Company Limited. Most of us have been working the land here in Mohanpur Noabaad for as long as we can remember. Rajaram Verma and Moti Lal are some of the names behind this effort, and we basically just wanted a way to handle our crops better. It’s not a fancy office or anything, just a spot where we meet to figure out the season's plans. Farming in Madhya Pradesh has its ups and downs with the weather, so being a collective helps us deal with the market. We mostly focus on jaivik methods because that’s what makes sense for our soil in the long run. It is a lot of hard work out in the sun, and sometimes things don't go exactly as planned, but that's just life on the farm. We aren't trying to be some big corporation. We are just local people from the B.Nag area trying to get a fair price for what we grow. People know us by our names here, and we like it that way. If you come by Ichawar, you’ll see the fields where we spend most of our time. There’s always someone around the Mohanpur area if there’s a need to talk about seeds or harvest. We just take it day by day and hope the rains are good to us this year.
