Dishala Livelihood Producer Company Limited

You can find us at Plot Number 91 in the Dangi Estate in Sehore. It is a decent enough spot for us to run Dishala Livelihood from. We aren’t a big corporation with hundreds of staff members and shiny floors. Most of us are just locals from the Sehore area who wanted to find a better way to make a living for everyone involved in production. We deal with a lot of different things throughout the day, mostly helping out with the producer side of things. Some days it is just sorting through piles of papers that never seem to end, and other days it is meeting people who are trying to get their goods to market. We have been here in Madhya Pradesh for a while now, so we know the people and the land pretty well. The Dangi Estate can get a bit crowded with all the trucks and people, but it is where all the action happens. We try to keep things simple and not overcomplicate what we are doing. If someone comes in with a question about their livelihood or their produce, we just answer it the best we can. There isn't any big marketing strategy here. We just show up and do the work that needs doing. Sometimes it feels like we are just barely keeping up, but we keep at it because the work matters to the families around here. It's just us doing our part every day.
