Vi Microsystems Ltd is located at 11-4-309 in Chilkalguda, Secunderabad. Chilkalguda is one of those older neighborhoods that has a lot of character, and we have been part of it for a while. Our office is in a building that has definitely seen some years. It has high ceilings and large windows, which is nice, though they let in a lot of dust from the busy road. We do not have any modern cubicles or fancy office furniture. We use sturdy old wooden desks and metal chairs that have been here forever. It is a very practical environment. We focus on micro-systems and various electronic components. Most of the people working here have been with us for a long time, so we are like a small family. We do not have a canteen, so we all bring our tiffins and eat lunch together in the back room while the fans hum overhead. It can get quite hot in Secunderabad, but we are used to it. The area is always busy because it is so close to the station. You can hear the trains sometimes if you listen closely. We do not bother with any big promotional stuff. We just focus on the tasks we have on our plates each day. It is an honest, no-frills kind of place. We open up early and close once the work is finished. It is not a glamorous job, but it is steady and we like it.
