Venkateshkrovvidi

If you find yourself in Vasantnagar, Kukatpally, you might have walked past us without even noticing. We are tucked away on the first floor of Plot No, and the stairs up here can be a bit steep if you aren't used to them. Venkateshkrovvidi is the name on the door, though most of the locals just know us as the guys on the first floor. Hyderabad gets so hot in the middle of the day that we usually keep the curtains drawn to stay cool, which makes the office feel a bit like a cave. It’s not a polished corporate setup with glass walls or anything like that. We have some old filing cabinets that make a lot of noise when you open them and a ceiling fan that wobbles if you turn it up to full speed. There’s always a faint smell of tea because we drink way too much of it throughout the afternoon. Our neighbor downstairs sometimes plays music that we can hear through the floorboards, but it’s mostly just the sound of traffic from the main road reaching us up here. We’ve been at this address for a bit now, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the street outside. It’s a busy part of Hyderabad-500085, and sometimes the noise is a bit much, but it keeps us feeling like we are in the middle of everything. We just do our thing every day. Maybe one day we will get a better fan, but for now, this one works well enough for us.
