Our place is at Hno: Lig-55 in the S. S Colony area of Hydernagar. If you are coming through Kukatpally you will know that this part of Hyderabad is always moving. The house itself is a standard LIG unit and it has been our base for a while now. We like being in a residential colony because it feels more like a community than a sterile office park. There is a small gate at the front that sometimes squeaks when you open it. We have our setup inside the main rooms. It isn't a massive space but it fits what we need to get done. The light coming through the front windows is usually pretty good in the mornings before the sun gets too high and hot. We have some plastic chairs for guests and a couple of old fans that keep the air moving when it gets stuffy in the afternoons. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood throughout the day like the vegetable sellers passing by or kids playing after school. It feels real here. We don't bother with fancy decorations or anything that isn't necessary. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but that is not really a priority for us right now. We spend most of our time just focusing on the tasks we have. It’s a straightforward walk from the main road if you are coming by bus.
