V L Enterprises

Our office, V L Enterprises, is at Plot 11 in the Sri Venkat Ramana Complex over in Tarbund. It’s unit number 4. The complex is usually buzzing with activity, and parking can be a real pain if you arrive after ten in the morning. We do a bit of everything here, mostly acting as a middleman for different industrial parts and supplies. I started this after working for a bigger firm for twelve years. I got tired of the corporate meetings and decided to just do my own thing. It’s much quieter this way, even if I have to handle all the problems myself now. The space is filled with boxes and a couple of old desks. We don't have a receptionist; if the phone rings, one of us just picks it up. Some days are slow and we just sit around drinking tea and checking the ledgers. Other days, three different shipments arrive at once and it's total chaos. We don't have a grand vision or anything. We just want to make sure the orders are correct and the bills are paid on time. It's a small team, just me and two others. We know most of our clients by their first names. If a part is late, we just call them up and explain why. No excuses, just the truth. It's a small business, and that’s how we like to run it. We are just here to help other businesses get what they need to keep running.
