Uday Hair Salon

Uday Hair Salon is located right in Jawahar Nagar, near the RTC X Roads area. If you know where Prabhat Coffee Industries is, we are just opposite to that. You can usually smell the coffee in the air when the wind blows the right way, which is a nice thing while working. RTC X Roads is always a noisy part of Hyderabad with all the buses and people moving around, but inside the shop, things are a bit more relaxed. We have been here for a while, just taking care of whoever walks through the door. It’s a simple setup. We’ve got the chairs and the mirrors and our scissors. We don’t have any fancy decorations or anything like that because we prefer to just focus on the hair. Most of the guys from around the neighborhood come here. Sometimes they have to wait a little bit if the chairs are full, but they don't mind much. They just read the paper or look at their phones. Being in this part of town means we see all sorts of people, from students to office workers. We just try to keep the place clean and ready for the next person. It’s a basic business, nothing too complicated. We open every day and stay until the evening. If you are coming from the main road, just look for the coffee place and you will find us right across. It is a decent spot for a local barber shop to be.
