Our office is tucked away in Village Baghaura, right by the Sikrara post office in the Jaunpur district. It’s a pretty quiet place to run a company like Thotaka Technologies. You wouldn’t necessarily expect a tech business to be sitting out here in rural Uttar Pradesh, but it suits us just fine. We work on various tech projects and different kinds of electronic things. The power goes out sometimes, so we have to rely on the generator quite a bit to keep the computers running. It’s not like the big city offices you see on TV with glass walls and fancy carpets. We have sturdy desks and a lot of wires running across the floor in some spots. Most of the people working here are from around the village or the nearby towns. We spend our days coding or looking at circuit boards through magnifying glasses. Sometimes the local kids come by and peek in the windows to see what we’re doing with all the screens. It’s a different way to run a business, being so far out from the main city hubs, but we like the slower pace. We handle whatever work comes our way and just keep things moving. The road leading to the post office is usually quite dusty, but it feels like home. We don't have a marketing department. It's just us in Jaunpur, getting the daily work done as best as we can.
