Suri Ventures Pvt. Ltd. is located at Shed No-18 in the Industrial Estate. It is a big open space with high ceilings and a concrete floor that has seen better days. We do not have any fancy offices or carpets here. Most of the room is taken up by the stuff we are working on and the supplies we need to keep things running. The industrial estate is a busy place with a lot of other businesses doing their own thing. You can hear the sounds of forklifts and hammers from the neighbors all day long. We start our day early, usually before eight, to get a head start on the heat. There is a small corner with a table and chairs where we have our lunch and talk. The shed gets a bit drafty when it rains, but it keeps the sun off us. We have a few lights hanging from the rafters, but we mostly rely on the big sliding doors for light. It is a practical environment where the focus is on the work, not on looking good for visitors. We keep our paperwork in some metal cabinets near the front. It is a straightforward way to earn a living. The commute is not too bad since we are away from the main city center, though the road into the estate has a lot of potholes that we have to dodge.
