Billing Superivisor

Down here at 18-92/3 Hanumanpet, we run the Billing Superivisor operations. Malkagiri is a place where everyone seems to know everyone else. Our office isn’t much to look at from the outside, just a door and some windows. Inside, it’s mostly about the numbers and the records. We spend our time looking at sheets and making sure the math adds up. It can be repetitive, but it’s what we do. We don’t use fancy software that does everything for us; there’s still a lot of manual checking involved. The desks are old and the fans on the ceiling make a bit of a clicking sound when they’re on high. We have stacks of ledgers and folders that we move from one side of the room to the other. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We don’t really have a sales pitch because we aren't trying to sell anything to anyone. We just handle the billing side of things for the people who need it. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to say hello or ask a question. The heat in Malkagiri can be something else in the afternoons, so we usually keep the blinds pulled tight. It’s a simple setup with a few people who have been doing this for a long time. We don’t make a big deal out of it, we just stay on top of the paperwork.
