Software Programmer

Ameerpet is a wild place to work if you’re a software programmer. I’m right near the BSNL Tower, which is a landmark everyone knows. If you’ve ever been to this part of Hyderabad, you know how it is—hundreds of people everywhere, all looking for something in tech. My place at Dr.No : 8-3-899/1 is where I spend most of my waking hours. I speak English, Hindi, and Telugu, which helps a lot because you never know who is going to walk through the door or call. Being single means I can put in the long hours without anyone complaining at home. I’ve got my setup right here, and it’s nothing fancy. Just a good computer and a chair that doesn't hurt my back too much. The noise from the street is constant, but you get used to it after a week. Sometimes I grab a chai from the stall downstairs and just watch the crowd. Programming is hard work, it’s not just sitting and clicking buttons. It takes a lot of patience to find that one error in a thousand lines of code. I don't promise anything impossible, I just do the work as it comes. It’s a busy life in a busy city. I’m just another guy in Ameerpet trying to make the code work like it’s supposed to, day in and day out.
