Smartworks Llc might sound a bit different to some, but we operate out of the Raghava Mens Hostel in Hyderabad. It is in the 500072 pin code area of Andhra Pradesh, well, Telangana now, but the old records still say AP sometimes. Being in a hostel means it is never really quiet, there is always someone moving around in the halls or some noise from the other rooms. We have our little space set up here where we can focus on the work. It is definitely not a fancy corporate setup with a lobby and a coffee machine. We mostly just drink whatever tea we can get from the local stalls nearby. It is a practical way to run things while we are building everything up. Most of the people around us are students or guys working in the city, so it’s a young and busy vibe. We spend a lot of time on our laptops, and the internet connection is our most important tool. Finding us can be a bit confusing for people because they do not expect a company to be inside a hostel, but we are here. We do our work, talk to our clients on the phone, and try to keep things moving forward. It is a bit cramped, but it gets the job done. We do not need much else besides a desk and some electricity. It is just how we are doing things for now.
