Simhadri Satish

My name is Simhadri Satish and you can find me over at H.No-5-217/1 in Chandra Nagar. It’s right in the Chintal area of Hyderabad, not too far from the Vivekananda School. If you’re around when school lets out, you’ll hear all the kids running home, which brings a lot of life to the street. I’ve lived and worked in this house for a long time. It’s a place that belongs to D. Srinivas, and it’s served us well over the years. We don’t have a big corporate office with glass walls. It’s just a regular building where we get things done. I spend most of my mornings answering the phone and writing things down in my ledger. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. The neighborhood is full of people I’ve known for years. We talk about the weather or the price of groceries while we work. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s a good one. I like that I can step outside and talk to the neighbors without having to schedule a meeting. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, and we have to clean it up, but that’s just part of being here. We don't make big promises, we just try to be helpful to anyone who stops by.
