Silicon Ville

Our location is out in Machabolarum at 2-5-21, right near the Balaji Rice Mill in Sec-Bad. If you’re coming to see us, you’ll probably notice the mill first because of the trucks lined up outside. It’s a bit of a distance from the main city center, so it feels a little more like a village than a busy urban area. We have a small office here that’s pretty basic. The floors are concrete and the windows are the old metal-frame kind that rattle when the wind picks up. We’ve been in this spot for a few years now, and we’ve grown used to the dust from the road. It’s not a high-tech looking place despite the name. We just have our desks and our computers and a small area where we keep the kettle for tea. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit out on the small porch for a bit until it comes back on. We don’t have any marketing people or fancy brochures. It’s just us working through our daily list of things to do. The neighborhood is mostly quiet except for the activity at the rice mill. We like it that way. It’s an honest place to work without any of the extra polish you find in the bigger business districts. We just do our bit and go home. The gate squeaks when you open it, but we haven't oiled it lately. It's just a normal working day.
