Shift Incharge

I am the shift incharge over at the 132/33Kv. sub-station in Bibinager. This is located in the Nallagonda district of A. P. Working at a sub-station is a very specific type of engineering job. It is not like working in a factory or a standard office. I spend my days and nights surrounded by high-voltage equipment and control panels. My main task is to make sure that the power supply for the area remains stable and that any issues are dealt with immediately. Bibinager is a key point in the local grid, so there is a lot of pressure to keep things running right. I don't have any fancy titles or a big marketing budget. I just have my responsibility to the community and the grid. The sub-station has its own rhythm, with the constant hum of the electricity in the background. It is a bit of an isolated spot, but I don't mind the quiet. I’ve been working in A. P. for a long time and I know the local terrain and the challenges we face with the weather and the equipment. I don't believe in using big promotional words to describe what I do. It is just plain, honest work that requires a lot of attention to detail. If there is a problem, I’m the one who has to find the solution. I just focus on the job at hand and make sure the shift goes smoothly for everyone. It is what needs to be done.
