We've been here in Geethanagar for quite a while now. If you walk past Ferozguda, you’ve probably heard the sounds coming from our shop at 4-204. It’s mostly the noise of the lathes and the smell of cutting oil. S K Machine Tools isn't a fancy place with a lobby or anything like that. It’s just where we show up every morning to get to work on whatever parts need doing. Most of the time, our boots are covered in metal shavings and there’s grease under our fingernails. That’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with machinery all day. Some days are slower than others, but usually, there's a pile of work waiting for us when we unlock the doors. We don't spend much time on the computer or making things look pretty for a website. Secunderabad has a lot of shops like ours, but we just try to keep our heads down and do what’s asked of us. Sometimes the power goes out or a tool breaks and we have to fix that before we can even start the actual job. It's not a glamorous life, but it's what we know. We’ve known the neighbors around here for years. If a customer comes in, they usually just find us in the back. We take the measurements, check the specs, and try to get the pieces out the door so people can get their own machines running again.
