Rps Computers

Rps Computers is over in the Chenoy Trade Centre on Parklane. We are at shop number 122 on the ground floor. If you’ve ever been to CTC, you know how it is—lots of people looking for parts, cables, and repairs. It can get pretty hectic in the afternoons. We’ve been in this same spot for quite a while now. Our shop is packed with motherboards, monitors, and all sorts of computer bits. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know exactly where every screw and spare fan is. We spend most of our time bent over keyboards or looking at screens. It’s what we enjoy doing. We don’t have a sales team or anyone in a suit. It’s just us technicians and the customers who walk in with broken laptops or need a new build. We try to be honest about what can be fixed and what is a waste of money. Sometimes we have to tell people their old machine is done for, which isn't fun, but it’s better than charging them for a temporary fix. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to drop off heavy towers without having to deal with the lifts. It’s a small space, but it’s our space. We’ve seen a lot of changes in technology since we started, but the basic goal of helping people get their computers working remains the same. Most days we are just happy to solve a tricky hardware issue.
