Our spot is at Plot 100 in West Gandhi Nagar. It’s right near the Rampally X Roads, so the traffic noise is pretty much constant. We handle all sorts of tech-related stuff, mostly fixing things that people bring in or selling small parts. The shop isn’t much to look at. We have some metal shelves that are sagging a bit under the weight of old monitors and boxes of cables. I started this place because I liked taking things apart, and now it’s just what I do every day. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time. Most days it is just me and one other guy sitting at the back bench with soldering irons. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you come in, you'll probably see a pile of discarded circuit boards near the door. The neighborhood is okay, though the power goes out more than we'd like. When that happens, we just sit outside and talk to the neighbors. It’s a simple way to earn a living. We don't do much in terms of advertising. People just find us when their gadgets stop working. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the projects going on, but we know where everything is. That’s just how we run things here in this corner of the city. We're usually here from morning until late evening most days. There’s always something that needs a quick look or a simple screw tightened.
