If you look for us in Upper Basti Warisguda, we’re the ones at 12-11-165/1. Our space is usually full of computer towers with their sides off and wires trailing across the desks. We do a lot of tech support and info services for people around Secunderabad who can’t get their machines to behave. It’s a lot of reinstalling software and blowing dust out of fans. Sometimes people bring in laptops that have had tea spilled on them, and we have to tell them it’s going to be a long job. We don't have a front desk with a receptionist; you just walk in and talk to whoever isn't currently staring at a screen. The lighting is a bit bright because we need to see the tiny screws on the motherboards. We’ve been in this building for a while and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with repairs. It gets a bit loud when we have to test the speakers on a system. Most of our day is spent trying to figure out why a network is down or why a printer won't connect. It’s honest work and it keeps our brains busy. We aren't some big IT firm in a glass tower, just a local shop helping out the neighborhood with their tech problems. We keep plenty of spare parts in the drawers.
