Our office is tucked away in Malkajgiri, Hyderabad. The address is 18-92/3/1, which is basically a private house that we have converted to use for our daily work. Malkajgiri is a very crowded and busy place, and our street is no different from the rest. You have to navigate through a lot of traffic and small winding lanes to get here. It is definitely not the fancy part of the city, but it has everything we need close by. We have set up our computers in the main rooms and use the back area for storing supplies and taking our lunch breaks together. It gets a bit cramped when the whole team is in at the same time, but we make it work and nobody complains much. The electricity is mostly reliable, though we have had our fair share of afternoon outages where we just sit around and talk until the lights come back on. There is a lot of dust from the road construction nearby that never seems to finish, so we are always wiping down our keyboards. We don’t have a big reception area or anyone to greet you at the door, you just kind of walk in and find whoever you are looking for. It is a very informal atmosphere here. We like being in this part of Hyderabad because it feels more authentic than the newer, glass-filled developments. It’s just us trying to get things done in the neighborhood.
