Started in Flat 505 at Janakirama Apartments in Chikkadapally. Hyderabad gets really hot, so the fans are always on in every room. We are on the fifth floor of the building. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens more often than we would like. Chikkadapally is always busy and noisy. There’s a tea stall right downstairs where everyone from the office goes for a break. We spend most of the day here working through papers and talking to people who drop by for various reasons. It’s not a huge fancy office, just a flat converted into a workspace. You can hear the traffic from 1-8-528 all day long. Sometimes the neighbors in the apartment complain if we have too many visitors, but mostly it's pretty quiet. We've been in this spot for a while now. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it's home for us during the day. Everyone knows everyone around here. We don't really do the whole corporate suit and tie thing. Most of us just wear what's comfortable and get on with the daily tasks. It’s just how things are run around here. We handle what comes our way. Sometimes it’s very busy, sometimes it’s a bit slow. We like being in this part of Hyderabad because everything is close by. If you need a snack or a pen, you just walk out the gate and find a shop. It works for us and keep us going.
