Our place, Nexus Computer Pvt. Ltd., is located at 1-11-222/2, GURUMURTHY LANE. It’s right across from the Times of India office in Begumpet. Being opposite a big landmark makes it easier for people to find us, but Gurumurthy Lane itself is quite narrow. We have been working from this spot for quite a while now. The office is basically one large room with desks lined up against the walls. We have stacks of old monitors and boxes piled up in the corners because we never seem to have enough storage space. It’s a busy environment. We hear the traffic from the main road all day. We do a lot of computer work, mostly repairs and assembling systems for people who come by. It’s not a fancy corporate office. We have a small kettle for making tea and that’s about it for a break room. We usually eat at our desks while watching something on the screen. The power fluctuates sometimes, so we have those big batteries to keep things running. It’s just how it is in this part of Begumpet. We know the neighbors and the local delivery guys well. We don't put on any airs about what we do. We just open up in the morning, handle the work, and close up when we’re done. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of setup for everyone involved.
