Nest Computers

Nest Computers is down in the cellar of the Chnoy Trade Centre, or CTC as everyone calls it, on Parklane in Secunderabad. We’re at S 28 Cellar 116. Being in the basement means we do not get any natural light, but it stays a bit cooler down here when the sun is beating down on the street. It’s a busy building, full of people buying and selling tech. You can hear the footsteps and the carts rattling on the floor above us. Our shop is small, and every inch is used for storing parts or as a workbench. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, with wires hanging everywhere and half-finished projects on the tables. We’ve been in this cellar for quite a while. People know to come down the stairs and look for our shop number when they need something fixed fast. Secunderabad is always moving, and Parklane is right in the thick of it. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We don’t bother with fancy displays or sales pitches. People come here because they know we have the tools and the parts. The air down here can get a bit stuffy, but you get used to it after an hour or two. It’s a practical place to run a business. We just open up, do the repairs, and head home when the building closes. It is honest work in a busy place.
