Mohd Moiz (Free Lancer)

I’ve been working here in the CTC Building on Parklane for some time now. It’s a busy spot in Secunderabad, always crowded with people looking for one tech thing or another. Most days I’m just at my desk, dealing with whatever comes in. Being a freelancer means I don’t have a massive team or a fancy office suite. It’s just me and my setup. Some days the traffic outside on Parklane is so loud you can’t hear yourself think, but you get used to it. People drop by because they know where to find me. It is a small space, but it fits everything I need. The CTC building has its quirks, like the elevators being slow or the hallways smelling like tea from the stall downstairs. I handle a lot of different stuff, mostly hardware and software fixes that people can’t bother with themselves. There is no big corporate manual here. If something is broken, I try to fix it. If it is not worth fixing, I say so. I’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but CTC stays pretty much the same. It is a reliable place to be if you’re doing this kind of work. Sometimes friends stop by for a chat while I’m mid-repair. It keeps things interesting. I like the independence of working for myself. It is a lot of hours, but I don’t mind. That is just how it is when you are on your own.
