Our office is situated at 5-4-187/30 4/Id in the Trade World building. This is over in Karbalamaidan on M.G. Road in Secunderabad. It’s a pretty busy area and finding parking can be a real headache some mornings. We are up on one of the floors with a lot of other offices around us. You can hear the sounds of the city through the windows all day. We have a few rooms where we set up our equipment and desks. It’s mostly technical work, so there are usually blueprints or diagrams spread out somewhere. We use the small pantry for our lunch breaks since there aren't many quiet spots nearby. The building is older, so the elevator is a bit slow and sometimes we just take the stairs to save time. We’ve been at this M.G. Road location for a while now. The staff here is small and we all know each other’s habits. We don't really do anything fancy with the decor, just the basic stuff we need to get the job done. Often we are out at sites, but this is where we come back to do the paperwork and planning. It’s a functional space. Secunderabad is a fast-paced place, so we just try to keep up with the daily tasks. It gets quiet in the evenings after everyone else in Trade World has gone home. The security guard downstairs usually knows when we are the last ones leaving for the night.
