Firmament Technology

Firmament Technology is located up on the floor above Ubi Bank at Plot No 8. It’s a bit of a different spot for a technology and engineering place, being above a bank, but it works out well for us. You have to head up the stairs to find our workspace. Inside, it’s a mix of different projects we are working on at any given time. We don't have a lot of space for showing off, so every inch of the shop is used for tools, materials, or the actual work. Being above Ubi Bank makes us easy to find if you tell people to look for the bank first. We spend our hours looking at designs and trying to make them work in the real world. Sometimes things go smoothly and sometimes we have to try a few different ways before it’s right. We aren't interested in sounding like a big corporation because we aren't one. We are just a team of people who like the technical side of things and getting projects finished. It can get a little crowded when we have a big order, but we manage. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed, though we stay focused when the machines are running. We like being in this area because everything we need is close by. It’s a practical location for a practical business. We just keep our heads down and do the work day after day.
