Kalinga Enterprises

Kalinga Enterprises is our small business located at 14-221/5 in Mirjaguda, Malkajgiri. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a good while, and most of our work comes from local people living nearby. We handle a variety of general supplies and small hardware items that folks need for their homes or small projects. It’s a modest shop, and things are a bit cramped inside because we try to fit a lot of inventory on the shelves. You might have to wait a minute if we’re looking for a specific bolt or tool in the back. We don't have any corporate branding or big signs, just the name above the door. My cousin helps me out during the busy hours. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around; we just want to have what people are looking for when they walk in. Mirjaguda is a quiet enough place most of the time. We know our customers by name usually. It’s nice to have that connection with the community. If we don’t have something, we can usually tell you where to find it or try to get it for you next week. We keep a ledger for our accounts and do everything by hand mostly. It’s just the way we’ve always done it. We’re open most days, unless something comes up with the family. It’s a simple life running a shop like this, but we enjoy being our own bosses.
