Jr Programmer

Our workspace is located in Hyderabad, specifically in the Vivek Nagar area of Kukatpally. We are in the S R Residency building, at house number 12-6-2/203. It’s an apartment building, so it feels more like a home than a standard office. We go by the name Jr Programmer. It’s mostly just a couple of us working out of a room filled with monitors and keyboards. The space belongs to Venkannababu, who was kind enough to let us set up here. Kukatpally is a very busy part of the city, with lots of shops and people everywhere. However, once you get inside the residency, it’s actually quite peaceful. We spend most of our time staring at code and trying to solve technical problems. We don't have any marketing brochures or a fancy corporate culture. We just wear our regular clothes and work on our projects until they are finally done. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing in the hallway, which adds a bit of life to the place. We don't have a big sign outside, just the door number. We usually get our lunch from one of the many stalls nearby. The work can be difficult, but we enjoy the challenge. We aren't looking to become a giant company. We just like what we do and we like doing it here. It’s a very grounded and simple way of working for us. Most days it’s just the hum of the computer fans.
