You can find the Institute Of Software Engineering on the 5th floor, right above the Swagath Restaurant. We are located in Bhagyanagar Colony, just opposite the KPHB area in Kukatpally. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of noise and traffic outside. Being above a restaurant means we often smell whatever they are cooking downstairs, which can be a bit distracting during the lunch hour. The climb up to the 5th floor is a bit of a workout if the lift is busy, but once you’re inside, it’s a different world. We have rooms filled with computers and desks. It’s not a huge space, but we make the most of what we have. There are cables everywhere and the hum of cooling fans is the background noise of our day. People come here to learn about coding and computers, so it’s usually pretty quiet with everyone staring at their screens. We have a small area where students can sit and take a break, though it’s usually just a few chairs and a water cooler. The staff here are mostly tech people who spend their time fixing bugs or explaining how a bit of code works. We don't have fancy receptionists or glossy brochures. It’s just a practical place for people who want to pick up some new skills. We stay open late most days because that’s when people have time to come in after work.
