Idea Synertech Pvt. Ltd. is tucked away in Sakina Mansion, which is house number 17 over in Krishna Nagar Colony. It is in the Picket area, so it is fairly easy to get to once you know where you are going. The building is one of those older ones that has a lot of character. We are up the stairs, and the office is usually filled with the sound of tapping keyboards and people talking about projects. It is not a corporate headquarters with a lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Mostly, it is just a group of us sitting around tables with our laptops. We have been in Krishna Nagar Colony for a bit, and we have gotten used to the rhythms of the neighborhood. The morning starts with everyone dragging in, usually with a coffee or something from the local stalls. We do a lot of technical work, the kind of stuff that requires staring at code for hours. Sometimes we argue about how to fix a bug, but it is all part of the day. The walls have a few scuffs, and the furniture is just what we needed at the time, nothing fancy or matching. It is a practical space. We don't have big meetings with slides; we just talk across the room. Picket is a good spot for us because it is central enough but doesn't feel like the middle of a massive traffic jam every single hour of the day.
