Hira Exports is right in the middle of Gandhi Market on M. G. Road. Our specific spot is 2-3-15/2/10 in Ranigunj. If you know this area, you know how packed and energetic it is. There’s always someone shouting or a truck trying to squeeze through the narrow parts of the market. Being at number 57 on M. G. Road means we are in the heart of the action. Our office is tucked away, providing a bit of a quiet space amidst the chaos of the market outside. We deal with exports, so there’s a lot of back-and-forth communication every day. The walls of our office are covered with calendars and notes. We don't have a big sign outside, just enough for people to find us if they are looking. The stairs up to our floor are a bit narrow, and we often have to dodge crates being moved around. Ranigunj has been our home base for a long time. We like the convenience of having everything we need within walking distance. Most days, we just work through the lists and make sure everything is where it needs to be. It’s a very manual process sometimes. We enjoy the local atmosphere here, even if it gets a bit overwhelming during festival seasons when the market is overflowing with shoppers. It’s just our little corner of the world. We don't ask for much more.
