Our office is over in the West Metro building, specifically Flat No: 307 in Block D. It’s right around where Chandanagar, Kukatpally, and Miyapur all kind of meet up. It’s a busy part of Hyderabad, and there’s always something going on outside our windows. At Flying Marlin It Services Privatelimited, we spend our days dealing with all sorts of IT issues and projects. Some days are just about fixing stuff that broke overnight, and other days we’re trying to set up something new from scratch. It’s a mix. We’re a small group, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. There isn't really a boss who sits in a corner office; we’re all just in the main room together. The building is okay, it has its quirks like the elevator being slow sometimes, but it’s a good spot for us. We aren't interested in being the biggest IT company out there. We just want to do work that we can be proud of without getting too stressed about it. We have our favorite places to get lunch nearby, and that’s often the highlight of our day when things get tough. We don't use a lot of buzzwords or try to sound more important than we are. We just know our way around computers and networks, and we use that to help out however we can. It’s a straightforward way to make a living and we like the people we work with.
