Our office is up on the first floor on S.D. Road. It is a very busy street so there is always the constant sound of car horns and people shouting outside our window. We work on the computer side of things, handling stuff for online shops and digital business. It is a lot of data entry and checking things on websites to make sure they work right. The office is one of those typical long rooms with rows of desks and lots of wires. We have a lot of empty coffee cups sitting around because the mornings start pretty early for our team. Since we are on S.D. Road, it is easy to go out and get whatever you need, but the traffic is a total nightmare most afternoons. We have a small team and we all know each other well enough to joke around while we do our tasks. The walls are a bit plain, maybe just a calendar or two hanging up to keep track of the weeks. We do not really have a lot of visitors coming by, so we do not worry too much about having a fancy lobby or expensive decorations. We just need our internet connection to stay stable and our computers to keep running. Sometimes the power goes out and we all just sit there in the dark waiting for the backup to kick in.
