Etl Developer

We are over in Tarnaka, Hyderabad-07. It is a bit of a trek from the main tech hubs of the city, but we like it here. As ETL developers, we spend our days moving data from one place to another. It sounds simple when you say it, but there is always something that goes wrong with the mapping or the server connection. Our office is just a small space with enough room for our laptops and a big white board that is mostly covered in messy scribbles and old notes. We do not have a HR department or a fancy cafeteria. We usually just go out to one of the local spots in Tarnaka for biryani when we get hungry. The work is mostly quiet, just the sound of clicking keys and the occasional frustrated sigh. We are not a big firm with hundreds of employees. It is just a handful of us who know how to handle databases and messy files. Sometimes we stay late because a job failed and we have to restart the whole process from the beginning. We do not use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do for a living. We just build the pipes that data flows through. It is a bit nerdy, sure, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. Hyderabad is a great city for this kind of thing, and being in Tarnaka means we avoid some traffic.
