Conquest Infotech is tucked away in the basement of Minerva Complex at number 94. It is right beside Janata Bank, so that’s usually how people find where we are located. Working in a basement has its good and bad points. It stays a bit cooler when the sun is really beating down outside, but we don’t get to see much of what is happening on the street. We spend most of our time staring at computer screens and trying to figure out why things aren’t working the way they should. It is mostly tech stuff and data work that we do here. The office is full of wires, old monitors, and half-empty tea cups. It’s not the kind of place you see in movies with glass walls and fancy lights. It’s just a bunch of desks shoved together so we can all reach the power outlets. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we all just sit around talking until it comes back on. We’ve been in this complex for a while now, and we know the security guards and the folks at the bank pretty well. People drop by with their laptops or just to ask a quick question about some software. We aren't a huge corporation, just a small team trying to keep things running for our clients. It is quiet down here, which is nice for when you really need to think about a difficult piece of code or fix a problem.
