Our shop is down in the cellar of the Chenoy Trade Centre on Parklane, at unit number 17. Being in the basement means it can get a bit stuffy, especially when the whole building is packed with people on the weekends. But CTC is the place to be for computers in this city, so we’ve stayed put. We go by Computer Bazar Agarwal Computers. It’s a small shop, mostly filled with stacks of laptops, desktops, and various spare parts in boxes. We spend our days dealing with walk-ins who have broken screens or slow hard drives that need fixing. It is a lot of hands-on work, often with a screwdriver in hand and parts spread across the table. Parklane is always a bit chaotic with all the traffic and shoppers, but it’s just the environment we work in every day. We don't have any polished sales pitches or uniforms. We just look at what's wrong with a computer and say if we can fix it or if it's not worth the money. Sometimes we're waiting on parts to arrive from elsewhere, which can be frustrating for us and the customers who are in a hurry. We’ve been part of the CTC community for a long time now. We know the other shop owners and how the market works here. It’s not a fancy life, but we like the technical side of it and getting things working again.
