Chanda Brothers Jewellers

You can find Chanda Brothers Jewellers over at No. 3-4-10 Mahankali Street. We've been in General Bazar for a long time. It’s a busy street and there is always something going on outside our door. We mostly focus on jewelry and helping people who come in looking for something specific. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk, while other days we barely have time to eat lunch. The shop is a bit old but it works for us. We know most of the people who have shops nearby. It's a good community here in Mahankali Street. We try to keep things simple. We don't use big advertisements or anything. Most of our work is just handling the items and making sure the customers are okay with what they see. Sometimes the traffic in General Bazar makes it hard for people to park, but they still find their way to us. We have a few counters and some chairs for people to sit. It’s not a large space but we make it work. My brother and I run things mostly. We learned everything from our family. It’s a lot of responsibility but we enjoy being here. If you are near the Mahankali temple area, you aren't far from us. We're usually open until the evening unless something comes up. It’s just a normal business doing its thing day by day.
