Banoth Vijaya

I’m Vijaya and I stay at 1-16 in Sai Dhoni Gudda Thanda, Ravakole. This is in the Medchal area. I’ve been living in this thanda for a long time and I know everyone around. My work is simple and I do it from my house. It’s not some big company with a lot of staff. It is just me, Banoth Vijaya, handling the daily chores and whatever work comes my way. Medchal is getting bigger every day, but our corner in Ravakole is still pretty traditional. I like that people can just stop by my house if they need something. I don’t have a fancy business card or a polished way of talking. I just speak my mind and do what I say I’ll do. Sometimes the house gets a bit crowded with work stuff, but I don't mind. It keeps me busy and helps pay the bills. I wake up early, get the house ready, and then start on my tasks. I don't have any big secrets to success, just staying consistent and being here when people need me. 1-16 is easy to find if you are in the thanda. I’ve been through good times and bad here, and I’m still standing. That counts for something. I’ll just keep doing what I’m doing as long as I can. The community here is like one big family. We celebrate all the festivals together, and that’s when I take a break. My house has been in the family for generations. It is enough for me.
