Our little spot is located right in East Marredpally, specifically near the Workingwomens Hostel. It’s a busy enough area of Secunderabad, and we’ve been operating out of this space for a good bit of time. When people think about CAD work, they might imagine some big glass building, but we’re much more low-key than that. We focus on the technical side of things, dealing with drawings and software on computers most of the day. It gets quiet in here when everyone is focused on a design, just the sound of clicking mice and some chatter about measurements. The location near the hostel makes it easy for people to find us. We don’t really go in for big signs or loud advertising. People usually hear about us through word of mouth or they just walk by and see what we’re doing. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, which is just part of living and working in this neighborhood. We just deal with it and get back to work once things are running again. It’s a straightforward business. We spend a lot of time looking at screens, making sure lines are straight and angles are right. It’s steady work and we like the routine of being here in Marredpally. If you drop by, you’ll probably see one or two of us at the desks just grinding away at whatever project is on the schedule for the week.
